Join printmaker Alison Slack to learn how to drypoint print.

Drypoint is an intaglio printmaking method that involves scratching an image into a plate with a pointed tool. Drypoint is an easy technique to get to grips with and is a great method if you would like to take your drawings into print.

Participants will learn how to prepare the copper or print plate, from filling to polishing.  After drawing on their plates using different etching tools, the will learn how to ink up and print their plates through the press.
