Glass Fusing Studio @ Little Weighton Tuesday 3rd December 7-9pm

This 2 hour Glass Studio session is an aimed at those who have attended one of our 3 hour courses and want to get stuck into exploring glass further. Our glass teacher will be there to advise and assist but it is a self guided session. If you are arriving at this medium for the first time you do need to attend our Intro class where we go through all the materials, tools, equipment and their uses.

1 20×20 sheet of glass is included (enough to make 2 coasters) and you decide what to make with it… such as coasters, decorative hangers or pendants.

We’ll have coloured glass, powders, frits, metals and other inclusions and decorative elements for you to experiment with and make some amazing pieces. WE take them away to be fused and return them to you after a couple of weeks…simples!

It really is a wonderful medium to work in, suitable for beginners and the more advanced due to the flexibility of the class. To make a Candle Screen this requires additional sheets of clear glass to work with which can be purchased for £10.

WHERE? The Village Hall in Little Weighton is a light and spacious space with plenty of parking just past Skidby or Walkington if you’re coming from Beverley.

ANY PARKING? Parking is behind the village hall and can be accessed via Potterdale drive. Look out for the sign directing you to the Village Hall Car park.

REFRESHMENTS? Light refreshments are provided. Please let us know if you have any dietary requirements.
