Ever fancied using up old clothes, blankets, sheets and pillowcases? Jumpers even and jeans? Now you can! Bring them along and learn how to make your own chunky rag bathmat (or you can use it elsewhere), using this ancient weaving technique. It’s really fast and you’ll weave your rug up in next to no time. You’ll learn how to warp your loom, weave and finish off your work.
This class is suitable for beginners and all equipment is provided. Please bring along anything you want to work with. Fleece and old sheets, blankets, jeans, t-shirts or felted jumpers. Towelling is not suitable.

WHERE? The Village Hall in Little Weighton is a light and spacious space with plenty of parking just past Skidby or Walkington if you’re coming from Beverley.

ANY PARKING? Parking is behind the village hall and can be accessed via Potterdale drive. Look out for the sign directing you to the Village Hall Car park.

REFRESHMENTS?Light refreshments are provided. Please let us know if you have any dietary requirements.
