As the sun sets over the Courthouse behind us, the website is finally ready to go live. So, here we go, the shop has been open a month and has done much better than any of us expected. That’s in part thanks to the many tourists who have been visiting our fair City of Culture, and in part to the many locals who have been popping down to the Museums Quarter on their days off to take in the sights for themselves, revisit old haunts and make the most of the sunshine and our very own heritage.
Our first course, “United Textures & Textiles” has gone down a storm with the Tuesday Afternoon Craft Club (of Old Zoo Cafe fame), and artist Samantha Cook has promised to run it again in October once her love has returned to sea.
Our first ever flyer is on its way. Well that’s what the DPD email said. I have only been waiting since 9am this morning and yes I will wait until 10 pm this evening for it if necessary. We are so excited! Sneaky peak….
